Project Description:
The Student-Focused Campuswide Signage Implementation Project at Irvine Valley College (IVC) will create a comprehensive, campuswide wayfinding system to improve navigation, communication, and campus identity. The new signage will be clear, accessible, and student-centered, helping everyone move confidently across campus.
Key project components include:
- Exterior signage: Campus kiosks, pillars, pedestrian and vehicular signs, and map-based wayfinding
- Interior signage: Room signs, tactile wayfinding directories, and accessible building identification
- Digital signage: Two new electronic marquee signs at main entrances, reinstallation of existing marquee displays, outdoor kiosks, and indoor lobby directories By combining physical and digital wayfinding, the project will make the campus easier to navigate, strengthen IVC’s visual identity, and create a more welcoming experience for students, faculty, and visitors.
