Irvine Valley College (IVC) is committed to fostering a safe, supportive learning and working environment where all can pursue their career or academic success. To safeguard this commitment, the College encourages staff, faculty, and students to report misconduct, concerning behavior, and/or suspicious activity. The College depends on the campus community to identify and report behaviors of concern so that the College can respond to distressed students or community members with appropriate support services and resources. We are all responsible for ensuring campus safety.

The following forms can be used to report issues within our community to ensure the above commitment is met.

Reporting Sexual and Gender-Based Harassment

Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to report sexual and gender-based harassment, including dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking. To learn more about IVC's reporting options and resources for sexual/gender-based harassment, please visit Title IX.

Reporting Violations of Student Code of Conduct

Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to report complaints regarding behavior that may violate the Student Code of Conduct. Faculty may use this to report academic dishonesty; any behavior that inhibits a faculty member's ability to conduct class or limits other students' ability to benefit from instruction; or the learning activities of other students. Reporting CARE Concerns

Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to use this form to report behavior that may be impacting a student's academic success. To learn more about IVC's resources for CARE concerns, please visit the Health and Wellness Center.

Reporting BIT Concerns

Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to use the BIT form to report student behavior that exhibits aggression (e.g. harm to self) or may be harmful to the campus community. For more information, please visit the Behavioral Intervention Team.
