The Black Student Success Scholars (BSSS) program connects students from the African Diaspora to experience Black Excellence through a safe and welcoming environment.

CalWORKs

Work study, job placement, childcare, academic counseling, skills training, and more for students on public assistance.

Campus Police

Patrols campus grounds, takes crime and incident reports, conducts investigations, enforces all applicable laws, traffic regulations and provides a safe campus environment.

Career exploration, job preparation, employability, and marketability support.

Early College Pathway at Beckman High School

Dual enroll in classes at Beckman High School and IVC. Upon program completion, students earn a high school diploma & an IGETC Certification, which is 51 transferable credits to the UCs and CSUs.

ELEVATE AAPI

Designed to better serve Irvine Valley College’s students and the local community through targeted initiatives and expanded resources.

English Language Center (ELC)

Free online and in-person tutoring and support services for English language learners.

EOPS

Support services for historically underrepresented and low-socioeconomic students, including, priority registration, academic/career counseling, textbook assistance, educational supplies, and more.

FELLAS

IVC FELLAS (formerly EMCEES) is a DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility) driven male initiative focused on student success and community engagement for the college’s self-identified men of color students, staff, and faculty.

Financial Aid Office

Assistance with completing a financial aid application (FAFSA/CADAA), process student verification files, award grants, loans, and tuition waivers (CCPG).

Free OC Bus Pass

All currently enrolled IVC students are eligible to ride the OC Bus for free!

GAP4+1

A partnership with Cal State Fullerton (CSUF) that enables students to graduate with a bachelor's degree in four years and a master's degree with one more additional year.

Guardian Scholars Program at IVC

Priority registration, academic counseling, textbook assistance and other support for students who were or are in the foster care system.

Medical services and mental health services by licensed healthcare providers

HEARTS Scholars Program

Counselor-led support, community building, and resources for students experiencing food and housing insecurities.

Laptops Loans

Apply to loan a laptop.  The Learn to Earn program allows you to loan a laptop now, & then apply to keep that device forever after minimum criteria are met.

Library

Research support, print and digital resources, computer labs, printers, scanners and knowledgeable, helpful librarians and staff to assist you.

Math Center

Free drop-in tutoring in all math classes taught at IVC for students enrolled in the correct section of TU 301.

Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) Program

The MESA Program is committed to the success of first-generation college students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), by providing opportunities for academic achievement and professional development.

Mental Health Services

Individual and group therapy sessions provided by professional and caring mental health professionals.

NSF S-STEM Scholar Program

Provides full scholarships, academic support, & research opportunities for engineering transfer students demonstrating financial need.

Office of Student Rights and Grievances

Responds to, investigates, and seeks resolution to allegations of sex discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.

Technology Services – Student Help

The Technology Services Help Desk provides phone and online chat support Monday through Friday, 8 am to 7 pm​ (closed on campus holidays).

Transcripts

Order your IVC Transcripts, provide transcripts of previous coursework to IVC, and request an enrollment verification.

Information, resources, and programming so to help you successfully transfer to a university of your choice.

UCI Engineering Academy

A partnership with the UCI Samueli School of Engineering. Participants get guaranteed admission to the UCI Samueli School of Engineering, reserved class seating for major courses at IVC and will transfer to UCI with junior standing.

Veterans Services Center

A welcoming one-stop site for our military-affiliated students to assist with VA education benefits, medical benefits, mental health needs, and academic planning.

Womxn of Color Collective

A group dedicated to building community and empowering self-identified womxn of color students, staff, and faculty

Writing Center

The Writing Center offers free and low-cost writing support for any stage of the writing process and for transfer and scholarship applications in one-on-one or small groups settings, online and in-person.
