Stacy Lavino, LMFT
Stacy is a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience working with community college students. She is a passionate, student-focused, culturally sensitive counselor/provider and advocates for student health and wellness. Stacy strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space where students feel seen, heard, and respected. She specializes in helping students cope with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, adjustment issues, and grief & loss. Her therapeutic approach is integrative and combines individual short-term solution focused therapy with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). She also can assist in providing community referrals for long-term counseling (insurance, free or low-cost options) as well as referrals to doctors for those with medication needs. Stacy works in an interdepartmental capacity and can help guide students to utilize resources from various student services departments to help them thrive here at IVC.
