Project Description:
This project involves the conversion of Parking Lot 7 from a temporary gravel lot to a fully paved, permanent facility to improve accessibility, safety, and usability for Irvine Valley College students, staff, and visitors.
Upgrades will include:
- Full asphalt paving of the existing gravel lot
- Installation of electric vehicle (EV) chargers
- Addition of dedicated ADA parking stalls
- Construction of a new sidewalk connection to Parking Lot 8, enhancing campus pedestrian access
Construction is estimated to begin between Spring 2026, with completion targeted Fall of 2026.
Once completed, Parking Lot 7 will serve as a permanent and fully accessible resource for the college community.
