UC Irvine Honors to Honors (H2H)

For Honors Program students of all majors, Honors Transfer Council of California (HTCC) Honors Program participation is considered in the comprehensive review process for admission to UC Irvine.

Honors Program students with a 3.7 or higher UC-transferable GPA are invited to join the UCI Campus-wide Honors Collegium (CHC) as space permits. The UCI CHC offers students an engaged honors community, a specialized honors curriculum, faculty-mentored research opportunities, and priority registration.

UC Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG)

Through the UC Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG), all California Community College students can receive guaranteed admission to one of six UC campuses: Davis, Irvine, Merced, Riverside, Santa Barbara, and Santa Cruz. TAG is not exclusive to Honors students; all California Community College students can take advantage of TAG.

Students should research the individual TAG campuses and requirements, since some programs do not participate in TAG. For UC Irvine, the following programs do not participate in TAG: art, business administration, dance, music, nursing science, and all majors in the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences.
