IVC Honors Program students can take advantage of unique agreements with numerous four-year institutions that grant priority consideration for transfer admission.
Requirements to be certified for Honors transfer agreements:
- Honors Program Membership: Be a member of the IVC Honors Program
- GPA: Attain at least a 3.25 GPA in Honors coursework and the minimum GPA required for UC-transferable coursework
- Honors Courses: Be on track to complete 5 Honors courses by the end of spring prior to transfer, complete at least 2 of the 5 required Honors courses by the end of fall prior to transfer, and complete at least 3 of the 5 required Honors courses at IVC
- Major Requirements: Students must complete ALL major requirements for their selected major(s) by the end of spring prior to transfer
- Report All College Coursework: Students must report ALL college coursework to the IVC Honors Program and to transfer institutions so that an accurate GPA can be calculated
