Laser Day is your introduction to academic and campus life at IVC. This welcome day provides new students with the chance to meet faculty in their major, connect with their peers and prepare for success during their academic journey at IVC. Don’t miss it!
Who should attend Laser Day?
All new, incoming students to IVC who are starting in the Fall semester are encouraged to attend Laser Day.
How do I sign up for Laser Day?
Students must have a valid IVC Student ID# and be in enrolled for the Fall semester in order to register for Laser Day. Not sure if you have a Student ID#? Contact IVC Admissions, Records and Enrollment Services at 949-451-5315 or email ivcam@ivc.edu for additional assistance.
What is the schedule?
Laser Day is scheduled for Wednesday, August 12 from 8:30 am - 1 pm. For the schedule of events, please visit Event Schedule.
Do I really need to come to Laser Day?
We strongly encourage students to make every effort to attend Laser Day. We will cover different topics throughout the day that will be relevant to the student experience at IVC, both in and out of the classroom.
Can my parents/family members attend Laser Day?
Definitely! Parents, guardians, and support persons are encouraged to attend the “Parent Session.” Please include them when you register to attend.
What if I don’t know what I want to study?
If you are unsure of your major, please select the school that sounds most interesting to you. You will have the opportunity to learn more about your options during Laser Day.
