Complete "Step 2" all in ONE day!
Attend one Fast Friday to complete Step 2 in the Steps to Become an IVC Student. Participants will complete Advisement, Orientation, develop a First Semester Plan, tour the campus, and have the opportunity to interact with current IVC students, faculty, and staff.
Fast Friday is one way to complete Advisement and Orientation. If you're unable to attend a Fast Friday, Advisement and Orientation are offered bi-weekly on the IVC campus.Please visit the Admissions and Records Workshops and Events page to view our workshop calendar. These steps can also be completed online through your MySite (Legacy or Banner) student portal.
Students that sign up for Fast Friday are required to participate in the ENTIRE day. If you're unable to attend the entire session on any of the Fast Friday dates, please visit the Steps to Become an IVC Student to view alternative ways to complete placement and advisement.
NOTE: To qualify for FRESHMAN ADVANTAGE early registration time, you must complete all the Steps to Become an IVC Student by May 6, 2025.
Fast Friday* is from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm and are offered on the following dates:
*You must register with your IVC email address and password. All registered students are required to stay the entire time to receive credit.
