Irvine Valley College Accreditation Status Reaffirmed

Irvine Valley College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education. Each college affiliated with ACCJC must undergo periodic evaluation of their programs and services through self study and peer review in a seven year cycle. Irvine Valley College received its most recent reaffirmation of accreditation on June 23, 2017.

This Accreditation Follow-Up Report is submitted in response to recommendations cited in the Commission's action letter of June 23, 2017.

Irvine Valley College will be submitting its 2017 "Self Evaluation of Educational Quality and Institutional Effectiveness" report to the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) in anticipation of the external evaluation site visit scheduled for February 2017.
