The more significant the loss, the more intense the grief will be. Grief is the conflicting feelings caused by the end of or change in a familiar pattern or behavior. We all have occasional bouts of mild insomnia. It may be due to an excessively stimulating day, a particularly disturbing event, or perhaps an especially difficult assignment due the next day. Usually these periods are brief and we are able to resume our normal sleep pattern. There are times, though, when stress may be prolonged for several weeks altering our sleep pattern so that getting a good night's rest is quite hard. We may toss and turn, ruminate over too many things, or wake up frequently during the night.
Living in Irvine is very safe and comfortable. It is very clean and beautiful. Irvine has warm summer and cool winter. Beaches, malls, and Disneyland are very close. Also, Irvine is one of the most diverse cities I have lived in, so I can try to eat various food and meet people from different ethnicity.

Once you have been admitted to Irvine Valley College, you will be able to download your I-20 from the International Application Site. Your official acceptance email will provide you with download instructions.
Transfer students or students in the US can also pick up their I-20 at the International Student Office in CEC 7 or by email at your “@ivc.edu” email address. Please contact your advisor for this option.
