Living in Irvine is very safe and comfortable. It is very clean and beautiful. Irvine has warm summer and cool winter. Beaches, malls, and Disneyland are very close. Also, Irvine is one of the most diverse cities I have lived in, so I can try to eat various food and meet people from different ethnicity. 

IVC offers small classes that makes it easier for students to participate in class and to get a better attention from the professors. It also gave an open access for me to get involve in student life such as ASIVC and clubs that match my passion or interest. 

I chose to study at Irvine Valley College based on the size of the college and its reputation for transferring students to four- year universities. 

The courses are well designed to help students reach their academic goals and earn good grades; of course there were some challenging classes that needed more effort and dedication, but the professors are very organized in their lectures and go to the point, which was very helpful to me to earn the grades I wanted to get. Professors and IVC faculty are very helpful, very close to the students, and are always ready to listen to them. 

I am glad that I chose IVC. IVC is a relatively small campus with conducive learning environment. I especially enjoy the small classroom size here. I received a lot of attention from those passionate professors and they definitely appreciate opinions from various cultures. IVC classes are of a certain high standard. I especially recommend the Honors classes for students who likes to challenge themselves. You will learn in depth regarding the subject that interest you. 

I went to a workshop in the Transfer Center which provided me with a lot of good information about job positions connected to my major. The Student Services Center is great because there a student can find everything that he or she needs.
