The Greater Irvine Chamber Recognizes Professor Emily Liu and student Carlene Nhu
On September 15, the Greater Irvine Chamber celebrated Irvine’s world-class education with its Distinguished Educators program. Irvine Valley College (IVC) Professor Emily Liu was honored with a Distinguished Educator Award, and student athlete Carlene Nhu was recognized as a recipient of the John Colvin Memorial Scholarship.
Project RAISE Continues to Inspire IVC Student Crystal Enciso
This summer, Irvine Valley College (IVC) mechanical engineering student Crystal Enciso was one of four IVC students to participate in Project RAISE (Regional Alliance in STEM Education), part of the Undergraduate Research Experience (URE) at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). IVC was one of ten area community colleges to have students interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) conduct paid research at CSUF. This year’s cohort included 69 participants who each received a $5,000 stipend for their research.
Title IX Jurisdiction
Irvine Valley College (IVC) through the Title IX Investigator/Manager or designee will respond to all allegations of sexual harassment as required by Federal, Title IX law, as well as by California law, SB 493. The Title IX Investigator/Manager will evaluate each complaint, respond, provide supportive measures, and investigate when appropriate.

Irvine Valley College named a "2022 Great College to Work For"
Irvine Valley College has been named one of the best colleges in the nation to work for, according to the Great Colleges to Work For® program. The results released today by Great Colleges To Work For® are based on a survey of 212 colleges and universities. In all, 68 of those institutions achieved “Great College to Work For” recognition for specific best practices and policies.
