Satellite Coffee Structures at IVC and ATEP and Cafeteria Upgrades at IVC Project

Project Description:
The Satellite Coffee Structures at IVC and ATEP and Cafeteria Upgrades at IVC Project consists of IVC cafeteria upgrades, a new permanent structure at IVC close to the new Art Village (under construction), mobile food stands, as well as perishable food and coffee vending equipment at IDEA on the ATEP satellite campus.

Library Renovations Project

Project Description:
The Library Renovation Project at Irvine Valley College (IVC) delivers a fully upgraded, student-centered library that blends comfort, accessibility, and functionality. Spanning multiple phases, the project enhances both the building’s interior and exterior, modernizes its systems, and expands spaces to better support academic success and community connection.

PAC Storage and Interior Defects

Project Description:
The Scene and Prop Shop and Storage Area inside the Performing Arts Center (PAC) will receive some interior defect repairs. Following the completion of these repairs, a prefabricated metal storage building with 14 foot rollup doors and climate control system will be built on a concrete slab directly outside of the PAC.

Student Privacy Rights

Releasing Student Records

Under the provisions of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, all students are guaranteed the right to the privacy of their records. Irvine Valley College, in compliance with this law, provides students access to specified official records of their work at the college. Students have the right to challenge the content of their records including the grade they received in a class on the grounds that it is inaccurate, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate.

Statement on Freedom of Expression, Civility and Mutual Respect

The Irvine Valley College community recognizes the important role of freedom of expression, civility and mutual respect in fostering a healthy and productive college environment. Therefore, the college encourages an atmosphere of professionalism and cooperation, in which each member’s roles responsibilities are understood and appreciated, and in which the free expression of all opinions, beliefs and ideas is encouraged and respected.

Animals/Pets on Campus

No animals or pets of any kind are allowed within the boundaries of any college. This restriction also applies to animals and/or pets confined in any vehicle parked within the college boundaries. In connection with special class assignments, the college president or an appointed designer may grant approval to a student to bring an animal or pet on campus. When such approval is granted, the student must control and supervise the animal or pet at all times while on campus.
