Placement Results
Your placement results are available within (2) business days on your MySite account. Please check your results as soon as possible to view your approved course placement. Follow the instructions below to access your MySite and check your results.
Fast Friday
Complete "Step 2" all in ONE day!
Attend one Fast Friday to complete Step 2 in the Steps to Become an IVC Student. Fast Friday participants will complete Advisement, Orientation, develop a First Semester Plan, tour the campus, and have the opportunity to interact with current IVC students, faculty, and staff. Lunch will be served!
Fast Friday is from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm (all students are required to attend the entire time).

You can view your matriculation step completion progress at any time by logging in to MySite (Legacy or Banner) and going to My Information → Matriculation → Matriculation Status.

Exemption from Completing the Steps to Becoming an IVC Student
While completing this list of steps is highly recommended, the following students are exempted from completing them. Students who are exempted include:
Advisement Information
Once your placement results for English/ESL and math are available in MySite (Legacy or Banner), you may complete advisement. Advisement sessions can be completed in-person with a counselor at IVC or self-paced online.

Dismissal
At Irvine Valley College, students are subject to dismissal when they reach three consecutively enrolled semesters of probation in any combination of the two probation types:

Earning a Degree or Certificate
Irvine Valley College has started an automatic degree/certificate awarding process. If you qualify for one or more degrees and/or certificates, you may receive a notification that you are being awarded with them. No application is necessary! You could be eligible for degrees or certificates in your primary program of study and/or additional programs that you qualify for.
