Affordable
Quality education should not put you in the red. The cost of attending Irvine Valley College is very low compared to the private, UC, and CSU systems.
Learn the principles and practices of the criminal justice system in America and prepare yourself for a variety of careers in local, state, and federal agencies.
IVC's Administration of Justice program prepares students with the educational knowledge and experience they will need to transfer to a 4-year institution, to achieve a career in law enforcement and/or supervision, and to prepare to take the competitive written and oral examinations given by local, state, and federal agencies. The program provides a sound foundation for students intending to pursue careers in law enforcement, corrections, supervision and administration, probation and parole, private security, and law.
The Irvine Valley College Administration of Justice program is accredited by the California State Commission of Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.). It has earned a reputation as a community policing program that fosters the skills and attributes necessary for successful tenure in the various agencies of the criminal justice system.
A full-time student may complete this program in 4 semesters.
IVC’s Administration of Justice for Transfer, AS-T helps students transfer to the CSU system. We encourage you to speak to one of our Administration of Justice faculty members, or an IVC Academic Counselor, to help you plan a degree path that’s right for your goals.
