Caring Campus

Developed by the Institute for Evidence-Based Change (IEBC), Irvine Valley College (IVC) Classified Senate embarked on IEBC’s Caring Campus nationwide initiative in the Fall of 2019. Caring Campus acknowledges the central role that Classified professionals play in making students feel welcome on campus and helping them stay on their educational paths. Additionally, it shows the pivotal role that administrators play in supporting classified professionals in student engagement work.

Electioneering Ethics and Procedures Policy

The Classified senate shall ensure that copies of the nomination form(s) for filing nominations, eligibility requirements, and filing deadline(s) are sent to each classified bargaining unit member at least ten (10) days in advanced of the filing deadline, as per the Constitution.

Amy HunterAmy Hunter is the definition of a model Employee of the Year.  With six years at Irvine Valley College (IVC), Amy is a senior administrative assistant within the School of Business Sciences.

​Learning Lunch Series

Our Learning Lunch series are one hour sessions, where classified employees can learn about everything from tips on MS Excel and Google Docs to emergency preparedness demonstrations. Lunch will be provided for attendees, so check your emails for upcoming opportunities.
