Tyler Walton

Tyler Walton is a professional drummer and percussionist with many years of experience teaching, performing live, and recording in the studio. Mr. Walton earned his Master of Music degree in Jazz Studies Performance at California State University – Fullerton, and his Bachelor of Music degree in Percussion Performance from California State University – Fullerton. Mr. Walton has performed with several of southern California’s most prominent jazz musicians, including Joey Sellers, Dan St. Marseille, and the Bill Cunliffe Big Band featuring Ron Stout and Francisco Torres. Stephanie Thomas

Stephanie Thomas grew up in the Seattle area and while there studied with Anna Cloud and Christopher Leuba.  She moved to Los Angeles and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Horn Performance from the University of Southern California.  While there she had the privilege of studying with Jim Decker and Vincent DeRosa.  She has been a free-lance musician in Los Angeles ever since.

Rob Slack

Robert Slack is a leading Timpanist/Percussionist in the Southern California area. Winner of a national audition for a percussion position in the Pacific Symphony in 1990, he then became the Principal Percussionist in 1992. In addition to his work with the Pacific Symphony, he has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the San Diego Symphony, Opera Pacific, the Long Beach Symphony, and in many Ballet performances at the Los Angeles Music Center, the Kodak Theater, and other L.A. venues.

Anibal Seminario

Peruvian native Anibal Marcelo Seminario is a Latin Grammy & Grammy-nominated producer, saxophonist, composer, arranger, and educator.

Studying on a full scholarship, he earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Jazz Performance at California State University, Long Beach. Since graduating from CSULB, Anibal works in the greater Los Angeles area as a recording artist, arranger, and producer.

Gabriel Sears

Gabriel Sears has established himself as a leader among the new generation of brass musicians, captivating his audiences by effortlessly combining virtuosity and musicianship with distinctive entertainment. Heralded by the United States Air Force Band as an "amazing talent" (MSG Burts, 2006) after being the first brass musician to win the Colonel George S. Howard Young Artist Competition, it was evident at an early age that Gabriel would set the new standard in tuba performance.

Michael Rushman

Michael Rushman is a professional trombonist and music educator in the Southern California region. He currently serves as the trombone instructor at Irvine Valley College and Whittier College, and also coaches brass chamber music at the Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts. At the Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music, Mr. Rushman has taught conducting and music fundamentals, and spent three years as co-director of the Pride of Chapman Pep Band.

Jung Won Edward Park

Jung Won Edward Park, a member of the faculty at Irvine Valley College since 2016, specializes in teaching Music Theory. Beyond his academic role, Edward is a skilled clarinetist, vocalist, and electronic music creator. His electronic compositions span from live sound manipulation to utilizing sampled materials for performances. As an adept audio engineer, Edward has supported musicians across diverse genres by facilitating recording sessions, refining mixes, and orchestrating concert productions.

Sorah Myung

Violist and violinist Sorah Myung enjoys a diversified career as soloist, chamber musician, collaborator and educator. Ms. Myung is currently a faculty member at Irvine Valley College, Vanguard University and Chamber Music OC Pre-College while she plays frequently with the Pacific Symphony Orchestra in Orange County, Southern California.

Laszlo Mezo

Born in Budapest, Hungary, Laszlo Mezo gained national recognition as one of the top musicians of his generation when he won First Prize in the “Kertész Ottó Memorial Competition” at the age of 18.

Daniel Luzko, DMA

Since 1999, Dr. Daniel Luzko has been imparting his expertise in Music Theory and Composition at Irvine Valley College. His students, under his guidance, have successfully transitioned to numerous universities across the globe. Among his notable achievements are clinching the "First Prize" in the Villa de Madrid Composition Competition in Spain, receiving the prestigious Premio Nacional de Música from Paraguay.<
