Since 1999, Dr. Daniel Luzko has been imparting his expertise in Music Theory and Composition at Irvine Valley College. His students, under his guidance, have successfully transitioned to numerous universities across the globe. Among his notable achievements are clinching the "First Prize" in the Villa de Madrid Composition Competition in Spain, receiving the prestigious Premio Nacional de Música from Paraguay.<
Daniel embarked on a rich journey in the realm of music, starting with an internship at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts alongside the National Symphony Orchestra, following the completion of his Doctorate in Music Composition with a minor in Latin American Music from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
Daniel’s compositions resonated across the globe, with performances at esteemed venues such as the "Renku" Festival in Nagoya, Japan, the Federation Square concert hall in Melbourne, Australia, just to name a few. Collaborating with his sister Nancy Luzko, he crafted the Ballet "Madame Lynch," and the opera "Rendez-vous avec Chopin," with international artists alongside the National Symphony Orchestra of Paraguay. His upcoming works are eagerly anticipated, violinist Alejandro Drago is set to perform and record Luzko's Violin Concerto, further extending the reach and impact of his musical legacy.<
Daniel's quest for musical excellence led him to the European-American Musical Alliance in Paris, France during his sabbatical from Irvine Valley College. The culmination of this profound study manifested in his Symphony No.1, which was delightfully premiered under the baton of conductor Eleanor Nuñez, captivating audiences at Irvine Valley College Orchestra and the Orquesta Sinfónica de Asunción (OSCA).
