Articulation is the process that links the curriculum between community colleges and universities so that students can transfer from a community college to a university without experiencing a delay or duplication of coursework. Articulated courses at Irvine Valley College are those that are identified by a university as equivalent or comparable to courses taught on a university campus.

The Writing Center offers assistance, services, and resources to students enrolled in a Writing Conference course (WR 181, WR 182, WR 382, ESL 382, WR 375, and WR 385).
In order to use the services or resources in the writing center, you must be enrolled in one of the following Writing Conference Courses.

If you choose to have a video conference, please check your camera's field of view and background to make sure everything is school appropriate.
Please remember that the professors you are speaking to online are people here to support you, as well as working professionals. Accordingly, treat virtual conferences as you would any other classroom environment, with the same level of respect and decorum.
IVC Professor Emily Liu has been named a Teacher of the Year finalist by the Orange County Office of Education (OCDE).
IVC student Brittany Kester has been named a recipient of the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship. As a recipient of the award, she will receive up to $55,000 annually for up to three years to complete her bachelor's degree at the college or university of her choice.
