The IVC Music Performance Club is dedicated to gathering students and bringing them closer through passion for music. Our mission is to empower students that want to express their music skill of any level, build confidence, and create opportunities for live performances to enrich the campus as a whole.

Matryoshka – Russian-Speaking Cultural & Language Exchange Club

Purpose and Services

The mission of the club is to create a welcoming and inclusive space where Russian-speaking and multilingual students, as well as non-native speakers, can develop their language skills, academic skills, and confidence in order to more easily succeed academically and integrate into college life. The club supports learning and practicing the Russian language, exploring Russian culture, and building meaningful connections through cultural exchange, conversation, shared experiences, and mutual support.

IVC Soccer Community Club

Purpose and Services

The mission of the IVC Soccer Community Club is to create an inclusive environment where students can connect through soccer by engaging in discussions, campus involvement, physical activity, and community building, while supporting IVC soccer programs and encouraging student participation.

AESL Counseling

Counselors are available to assist ESL students with any questions about the college and classes. As an ESL student, often times you are not only new to the college, but also to the country. The counselors at IVC want to assist you.

Desiree Ortiz Receives Statewide Classified Employee of the Year Honor

IVC is proud to announce that Senior Administrative Assistant Desiree Ortiz has been named a 2026 California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office (CCCCO) Classified Employee of the Year, one of the highest honors awarded to classified professionals within the California Community Colleges system.

Ortiz was one of only six classified employees selected statewide for the distinction, which recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to Vision 2030, equitable student outcomes, leadership, professionalism, and service to their college communities.

IVC Honors Student Published in Scribendi Magazine

Scribendi, the flagship literary and arts publication of the Western Regional Honors Council (WRHC), is celebrating its 40th anniversary this spring, and Irvine Valley College honors student Kimia Seifi is among the students featured in this year's edition. Seifi's visual art piece, Pho Dollars, was selected for publication in the 2026 issue of Scribendi, an annual publication showcasing creative works from honors students at member institutions throughout the region and beyond.
