Facilities Rentals at Irvine Valley College

Before inquiring about renting IVC facilities, please know:

  • Rentals are processed on a first come-first served basis.
  • You will need to provide a $1,000,000 certificate of liability insurance naming South Orange County Community College District as a certificate holder.
  • A refundable cleaning deposit is required with all rentals.
  • Rates are stated per room per hour and are non-negotiable.
  • Facilities rental rates are subject to change.

IVC Esports

IVC Esports is a project-based learning organization where students take on real world projects that reflect the professional world of esports. Students and faculty involved in the IVC Esports program are part of a 100+ member team that brings esports to IVC through competition, career development, and community building. We host some of the best collegiate esports athletes in the nation who compete regularly for titles, scholarship money, and cash prizing.

Events & Games

Fall 2025 semester game titles include:

  • Pokemon VGC
  • Call of Duty

Tryouts for each title will be held the first two weeks of the semester. For details regarding tryouts, or if you would like to apply as a captain or team manager, check out our Discord below:

Student Opportunities

Our class program is for a grade and awards students who complete it with 3 CSU-transferable credits. The lectures are led by industry professionals who teach valuable career skills that prepare students for the esports industry, regardless of which part of it they choose to engage in. Students will learn about several topics including esports marketing, player health, esports in academia, and more! Enrollment is open every semester, and students do not have to be on any of our competing teams to join the class

IVC Laser Esports Arena

The IVC Esports arena is proud to now be located in PE270! Our game catalog is free to all IVC students with no time limits. For the most up-to-date information regarding arena hours, please visit our Discord.
