National Coming Out Day honors the experience of sharing your gender or sexual identity for the first time with another person. While one may ultimately have countless “coming out” conversations in their lifetime, the first time someone shares this part of themselves with another person is often life-changing.

You are invited to paint your pride (virtually) with the Pride Scholars! What better way to honor National Coming Out Day than with your own personally created art! All your supplies can be picked up from IVC before the event.

IVC LGBTQIA+ students and allies are invited to join in a safe space to discuss and share what’s important to you.
PRIDE Scholars at IVC
The Pride Scholars program supports LGBTQIA+ students in the form of counseling and multicultural programs that foster a safe space so that LGBTQIA+ students can thrive and be academically successful. Our program offers one-on-one academic, personal, and career counseling, Pride Scholars program scholarships, and LGBTQIA+ club support. We also offer programs and activities, such as National Coming Out Day (October), Pride Celebration (June), Lavender Chats (discussion group), and more!
