Purpose
The Equity and Inclusion Center was created to be a safe space for students on campus. Shared by all communities of students, this space offers flexible time to be reserved for your specific community. At the Equity and Inclusion Center we are actively identity-affirming, meaning, we celebrate and honor who you are inclusive of your ethnicity, race, gender identity, sexuality, age, ability, citizenship status, and life experience.
Room Features
- 30 individual tables and chairs that can be moved into many different configurations
- Lounge area with couches, club chairs and modular coffee and side tables
- Projector and large drop down screen for presentations
- Bank of computers open to student use
- Accordion style moveable wall that opens to the Game Room for large events
- Access to the back patio for social gatherings and events
- “We are IVC” mural
- Ability to reserve the space for your own group, gathering, event, or community
