Be an IVC Representative!

The Student Ambassador Program is an opportunity for IVC students to learn about the college and the South Orange County Community College District while representing IVC at events throughout the year, including providing campus tours for prospective students.

The program supports the college and district’s goals to promote students' success by enhancing the teaching and learning environment and to increase opportunities for student engagement inside and outside the classroom, evidenced by co-curricular participation, student services, and instructional support.

What to Expect as a Student Ambassador

During the 20-hour training program students will learn details about academic, business and student service programs and facilities. The Ambassadors become the face of the college, and create a sense of community.

As a Student Ambassador, you will have an opportunity to:

  • plan an annual campus event
  • receive ongoing leadership training in public speaking, team building, career preparation and soft skill development
  • become eligible for a $300 scholarship.
