International Student Club

Purpose and Services

The International Students club has been founded for the purpose of: Promoting greater diversity in the IVC community; Providing International students an opportunity to unite with others who share the common experience of studying abroad in the US; Encouraging international students to engage in IVC campus activities and programs; Assisting international students in gaining a better understanding of American culture and adjusting to life in the IVC community.

Japanese Club

Purpose and Services

The Japanese Club serves as a cultural exchange club. It provides a social environment for both Japanese exchange students and students who are interested in Japanese culture and language.

For Japanese exchange students, the club provides a casual environment to meet with other Japanese students and with students who are interested in Japanese culture and language. It is a great opportunity to integrate more easily into the American society as they can socialize more freely outside the classroom setting.

Leap

Purpose and Services

College Leap at IVC is a local chapter of a UC Berkeley-founded national nonprofit which aims to holistically support community college students on their transfer journeys. College Leap provides valuable leadership, mentorship, and internship opportunities to students through hosting panels and competitions.

Martial Arts Club

Purpose and Services

The Martial Arts Club shall promote public awareness of mental and physical health, stimulate and develop student interest in martial arts, and participate in community or volunteer work as well.​​​​​​
