Active Minds Club
Purpose and Services
The Active Minds Chapter is dedicated to changing the conversation about mental health. The club is dedicated to saving lives and to building stronger families and communities. Through education, research, advocacy, and a focus on young adults ages 14–25. Active Minds is opening up the conversation about mental health and creating lasting change in the way mental health is talked about, cared for, and valued in the United States. We believe no one should have to struggle alone.
Alpha Gamma Sigma
Purpose
The Alpha Gamma Sigma Club shall promote public awareness of volunteer services and scholarships, stimulate and develop student interest in scholarly excellence and educational activities, and participate in community or volunteer work as well.
Anthropology Club
Purpose and Services
The Anthropology Society Club promotes the awareness and enrichment of anthropological sciences and their applications in a multitude of careers, fields, and nonprofit work. Our events and activities promote the exploration of different cultures and the discussion of diversity and anthropology in a variety of academic fields. Students will be stimulated with community and volunteer work, guest and student presentations, museum trips, and an end-of-the-year ethnic potluck.
Administration of Justice / Chi Tau Epsilon Club
The purpose of this organization shall be to foster, promote, and maintain a relationship between the students of the Administration of Justice department and the Criminal Justice System. This relationship will develop programs offering cultural, social, and academic enrichment as part of the total experience of the college; and to the development of leadership, character, and judgment.
Student Art Association
Purpose and Services
We are dedicated to establishing a secure and nurturing environment for students where they can freely express themselves through art. Our goal is to cultivate an atmosphere of safety, respect, and creativity that encourages students to explore their artistic passions and develop their skills. By fostering a space that prioritizes both emotional well-being and artistic growth, we aim to empower students to embrace their creativity and flourish as artists.
Applied Science & Engineering (ASEC)
Purpose and Services
ASEC strives to offer hands-on STEM projects to all students in a safe environment while growing other major skills, including leadership, foundational engineering, mathematics, physics, & science principles, and team building experience.
American Sign Language (ASL) Club
Purpose and Services
The American Sign Language (ASL) Club has been founded to provide IVC students with an opportunity to connect with other students who are interested in ASL and share experiences, engage in IVC campus projects and programs, and participate in fundraising activities in the form of meetings, films, and ASL-related excursions.
