The cost of attendance includes not only college fees, books, and supplies, but also basic living expenses. IVC uses two different budgets, one for students living at home with their parents and one for students living off-campus on their own or with roommates. The budgets represent California state averages. Your actual expenses may be higher or lower than the amounts listed below.

How To Set Up Direct Deposit As Your Refund Method

The IVC Financial Aid Office disburses financial aid funds to eligible IVC students in coordination with the Student Payment Office. Financial aid disbursements will be applied to any outstanding balances, and any excess balance will be refunded directly to the student.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Get help paying for college by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To be considered for federal financial aid for the next academic year, complete and submit your FAFSA as soon as possible starting October 1st.

FIRST STEP: Free Application for Federal Student Aid

To be considered for federal and state financial aid at IVC, students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and add Irvine Valley College's Title IV School Code 025395 on the application. The FAFSA should be completed and submitted to the processing center as soon as possible after October 1^st and before the March 2 deadline of each year for priority consideration for the next academic year.

EOPS is a state-funded program designed to serve students who are economically and educationally disadvantaged. Applicants must:

These state-funded grants are available to California residents who apply by March 2 for the next academic year and qualify on the basis of merit, financial need, and/or vocational program. This funding is limited. In addition to completing a FAFSA (or CADAA for AB540 students), a separate form - commonly referred to as the "Cal Grant GPA Verification Form" - must also be submitted.
