Christopher L.C. Lee Creativity and Academic Scholarship
Chris Lee was an alumnus of Irvine Valley College and was a former testing proctor in the campus’ testing center. He was also a member of the Exchange Club since 2010 and was involved in many aspects of the organization.
Chris is remembered for his soft-spoken, kind manner and eagerness to assist.
Dr. Stephen Rochford Music Scholarship
Dr. Stephen Rochford, Professor of Music and Director of the Irvine Valley College Instrumental Music Area (IMA) from 1990 until his retirement in 2017. He conducted the Wind Symphony for 27 years, founded and conducted the Symphony Orchestra for 9 years, and managed all aspects of the IMA program. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Rochford was an avid fundraiser.
Te'Veannah Smith Advocacy and Social Justice Scholarship
Te’Veannah Smith, known by many as “T”, was an advocate for diversity, equity, and social justice issues on IVC's campus and beyond. Her involvement with ASIVC leadership and her vibrant presence in the classroom enriched our campus. This scholarship enables IVC students to continue her commitment to social change.
The Nicole JOY Ledina Memorial Scholarship
Nicole Joy Ledina was a compassionate, energetic, and driven honors student at Irvine Valley College. She believed in using her gifts to serve others and that intentional acts of kindness could have a positive change in the world. For Nicole, her gifts were music and a big heart. With these gifts, she aspired to provide real comfort, hope, and healing to those experiencing adversity and inspired others to do the same.
Adopt-A-Family
The IVC Adopt-a-Family program provides assistance to low-income students and their families during the holiday season. Donated funds provide food for a holiday dinner and toys for the children of our students. All gifts are welcome and appreciated.
Food Resource Center
The IVC Food Resource Center is a free, confidential service aiming to provide registered students with the appropriate resources to manage a sufficient, healthy diet. The program provides short-term relief and offers referrals for additional community support and ongoing assistance with food insecurity.
Colin McCaughey Scholarship
Colin was loved and respected, and he will be remembered with fondness for his dedication to his family, energetic support for our students, and the love he displayed for our college community.
To those who knew him, Colin was a husband, father, mentor, and a superb colleague that we could all count on. He was a passionate advocate for IVC's Administration of Justice program and gave his tireless support to the Chi Tau Epsilon (XTE) Administration of Justice Club. We will miss him dearly.
