ELEVATE Peer Mentors are students who assist in the day-to-day operations of the CAANAPI and facilitate our events and workshops. Peer Mentors also support fellow ELEVATE students with navigating their journey through their time at IVC by providing valuable insights from their experiences and training.

The IVC and Saddleback Honors Programs held their 12th Annual IVC/Saddleback Student Research Symposium on November 3. Students from both colleges convened at IVC to share 59 oral and poster presentations of their research on topics including inequitable access to public transportation among community college students, AI-driven prediction for early detection of diabetes, and college students’ use of disposable vapes.
The Veterans Services Center officially unveiled the "Sound Off" comic book during the Veterans Day event on November 9. Sound Off is a photo-story blog and comic book of veteran and military-connected students sharing stories from their life experiences. Faculty Tutor Max Evans served as editor for the project, and former IVC professor Nathan Cayanan created the comic book illustrations and served as artistic lead.
LeGal is a student-run undergraduate organization that specializes in women’s empowerment in the political and legal fields. Our objective is to bridge the inequality gap and diminish gender disparity for our members. We will provide opportunities to connect with law school representatives and women in the legal field.
