Born and raised in Orange County, Dylan Thomas has always been passionate about the spectacular hiking, biking and fishing the county has to offer. When it came time to enroll in college, it was this passion for the land that served as Thomas’ motivation. "To preserve this,” he thought, “we have to be cognizant of future generations."

IVC Launces the Rising Scholars Program
I am so proud of IVC’s official launch of the Rising Scholars Program held on January 24, 2024 at the Performing Arts Center. It was an incredible afternoon of inspiration and a beautiful convergence of the arts and education. I was struck by the power of artistic expression to convey the lived experiences and message of redemption from each participant. I invited Shawn Khalifa, Project Specialist for Rising Scholars to describe the program and the significance of its launch.

Financial Aid Fiascos (10 am - Noon)
Financial Aid is confusing enough without having to do all the other tasks you do for students. Erica Lehman, from the Financial Aid Office, will help alleviate some of the confusion surrounding office procedures, the new applications, and answer some common questions from students and staff.
