How to enroll in our tutoring program

Qualified DSPS, EOPS, Re-Entry Program students, Guardian Scholars, and Veterans are eligible for up to two hours of tutoring per week for up to three classes. This includes any class, provided we can find a tutor for that course.
Tutoring others - helping them learn and grow academically - helps you learn and grow as well. If you are interested in joining the Student Success Center tutorial team, follow the steps below.
For prospective tutors: Fill out the application and submit it to IVCSuccessCenter@ivc.edu with a scanned copy of your unofficial transcripts. Applications will be reviewed as needed.

Placement in a Math course is one of the steps of the matriculation process. Irvine Valley College determines placement in Math in one of the following ways:
Free Drop-In Math Tutoring
The Math Center offers in-person services in room B 363.
To use the Math Center's tutoring services, students must enroll in the appropriate section of TU 301 on MySite. TU 301 is a free, zero-unit, non-credit course that allows students to attend and utilize the Math Center.
