The Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) coordinates existing resources with a focus on prevention and early intervention in campus situations involving students experiencing distress or engaging in harmful or disruptive behaviors. The team develops intervention and support strategies offering case coordination by regularly reviewing and assessing situations in order to recommend actions in accordance with existing college policies.
The California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) program is designed to assist families as they become financially self-sufficient.
The Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education program offers a number of additional services for EOPS single parents who are receiving TANF cash aid assistance. This program was designed to promote self-sufficiency through education and training.
Specialized counseling for EOPS students focuses on academic planning, career planning, and personal concerns. Services are designed to assist students in developing strategies that help them succeed in reaching their goals.
