How to Enroll in Work Experience Education (WEE)

Steps to Enroll in the Work Experience Education (WEE) Program for Students

  1. Be current IVC student.
  2. Secure Work Experience Education (WEE)/Internship. Students looking for WEE opportunities may contact Career Center at IVC for assistance.
  3. Complete WEE Student Enrollment Application and submit to WEE Faculty. Students unsure of their WEE Faculty may contact WEE Program Coordinator for assistance.

WEE Courses

Each department/school at the college is led by a department/school chair who is available for ongoing assistance to students in the coordination of their programs. Through the department/school chair, the student may be referred directly to a CWE instructor or coordinator for specific assistance and information.

Work Experience Education (WEE)

Learning and Earning

Work Experience Education (WEE) formerly, Cooperative Work Experience (CWE), is an academic program offering students the opportunity to earn college credits while learning on-the-job, whether paid or unpaid. WEE is a student-centered, educational value-added academic course designed with specific, measurable learning objectives pre-determined by student, employer, and the WEE faculty.
