Once you have received your F-1 visa, you must confirm your enrollment at IVC to reserve your spot for mandatory orientation and registration. You must submit the Confirmation of Enrollment form no later than May 13, 2024:

Congratulations on your admission to Irvine Valley College! Now that you have been admitted to IVC, you will need to apply for the F-1 visa at the U.S. Embassy/Consulate in your home country. Please review the information below as it will assist you in this process.
Irvine Valley College does not offer dormitories or on-campus housing. However, students will find a wide variety of off-campus apartments located near the college. Additionally, there are companies that provide host family/homestay placement services in the local area. Please review the information below for more information regarding your housing options!

International Student Orientation will be offered in both on-line and in-person sessions. More information with specific dates/times will be sent to you by email upon confirmation of your enrollment. Attendance at orientation is required.
Students studying in the US are expected to arrive by the “Required Arrival Date in the US” in order to attend the mandatory in-person international orientation and TB/Tuberculosis testing dates.
If you are currently in the US attending another school on an F-1 visa, you may be able to take one or two classes at IVC as a concurrent student. Please visit ISP Forms and view the "Concurrent Enrollment Form: Non-IVC Student" for instructions, documents required and how to submit your request. Concurrent enrollment requests take 3-5 days for processing.
Irvine Valley College may request that international applicants have their academic documents evaluated by a credential evaluation service. We will notify you by email if this is required.
Additionally, students who are seeking transferable credit towards an IVC degree or certificate for study done at a foreign university will be required to have their transcripts evaluated by a credential evaluation service.
