Twelve Irvine Valley College (IVC) students were among 64 students from nine community colleges who presented original research at the 13th Annual California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) Summer Research Symposium on August 6 at the Titan Student Union Pavilion. The annual symposium, co-hosted by CSUF’s Undergraduate Research Opportunity Center (UROC) and Project RAISE (Regional Alliance in STEM Education), brought together students to share their scholarly and creative work with faculty, peers and the broader academic community.

Marking a new chapter for the Irvine Valley College Art Gallery, the School of the Arts presents E Hele Mai: Grounded Elsewhere, Rooted Here, the inaugural curated exhibition in its new gallery space. Featuring contemporary works by Dane Hiʻipoi Nakama, Alina Kawai, Anela Ming-Yue Oh, and Nainoa Rosehill, the exhibition will be on view August 12 through October 1.
