Updates on Spring Semester Classes

Tuesday, January 4, 2022

Please take note of recent changes to our class schedule due to the high transmission of the Omicron and Delta variants of COVID-19 in Orange County.

In-person and Hybrid Classes
If you are enrolled in a hybrid or in-person class, most of these classes will be held online until February 7, 2022. Some lab and activity classes will be held in person. Please check Canvas or email your instructor for an update on your class. If you're unable to reach your instructor, please contact the Dean's office. Find assistance with logging into Canvas here.

Vaccines are still required for students taking in-person or hybrid classes. Additional information will be emailed directly to those who are enrolled in these classes. We will send a separate email to students with approved religious or medical exemptions with information on testing requirements.

Online Classes
Online classes will not be impacted by these changes and will start as scheduled on January 18.

Student Services and Supports
Campus services and supports will be offered both in-person and online. Find our student services contacts here

Safety Guidelines
Masks continue to be required when in indoor spaces on campus.

While these changes are not what we were hoping for as we start the spring semester, we thank you for your continued understanding and cooperation in ensuring the health and safety of everyone at Irvine Valley College.
