New Building Names Starting Fall 2026

New Campus Map and Signage

Beginning in Fall 2026, IVC will introduce new campus signage and an updated campus map to make it easier to find your way around campus. These updates are part of IVC’s Student-Focused Signage Project and are designed to create a clearer, more welcoming campus experience for students, employees, and visitors.

What's Changing

IVC buildings are now organized into four campus quads: 
North | South | East | West

Buildings will use a new letter and number system based on their location. For example, buildings in the North Quad begin with “N,” such as N1 or N3.

Each quad will also be color-coded for easier navigation: 

• Green: North Quad
• Orange: East Quad
• Teal: South Quad
• Pink: West Quad

How to Find a Building

Need help matching a building code to its name? 

Check the “Buildings” section at the bottom of the Campus Map. It lists each building’s letter and number along with its name. For example: N1: Liberal Arts 

Timeline

New building signage will be installed over Summer 2026 and completed by the start of the Fall 2026 semester.

You will see these new building codes listed in the Fall 2026 Class Schedule, so be sure to check the updated campus map before heading to class.
