IVC Inspire 2035: Irvine Valley College's roadmap for the future.

IVC Inspire 2035 represents the culmination of a yearlong, campus wide effort to define who we are, what we value, and where we aspire to go as a college. Building on the South Orange County Community College District's ten-month strategic planning process, members of our college community engaged in meaningful dialogue through shared governance councils, committees, town halls, and campus conversations to shape the priorities, goals, values, vision, and mission that will guide IVC through 2035.

The result is a strategic framework grounded in the collective voices, expertise, and aspirations of our students, employees, and community partners. Together, we established six institutional priorities and twelve college-wide goals, affirmed a shared set of institutional values, and developed a new vision and mission that reflect our commitment to student success, equity, innovation, belonging, and community impact.

Inspire 2035 is more than a plan. It is a commitment to building a student centered, future ready college that embodies excellence in education, cultivates care and belonging, inspires innovation, and advances equitable opportunities for all.

I invite you to explore the goals, priorities, values, vision, mission, and supporting plans that will guide our work in the years ahead. Thank you to the many students, faculty, classified professionals, administrators, and community members whose engagement and partnership made this effort possible.

Together, we are shaping the future of Irvine Valley College.

John C. Hernandez, Ph.D.
