Food Resource Center

Are you struggling to afford food while attending IVC?
You are not alone.

IVC students struggling with food insecurities are encouraged to seek out resources in the Food Resource Center (FRC). The Food Resource Center is a free, confidential service aiming to provide registered students with the appropriate resources to manage a sufficient, healthy diet. The program provides short-term relief and offers referrals for additional community support and ongoing assistance with food insecurity.

How to Get Started

Services for Current IVC Students

Food Pantry & Daily Snacks

The Food Resource Center offers short-term food relief to currently-enrolled students. To receive a food bag or a daily snack, call us at (949) 451-5665

Grocery Bags of Food

Currently-enrolled students can receive a FREE bag of groceries. Limit one bag per student per week.

Help Applying for CalFresh Benefits

We can help you apply to CalFresh, a long-term food assistance program that provides monthly food benefits to individuals and families with low-incomes.

Personal Care Kits

Available at the Food Resource Center. Kits include items for personal hygiene including toothbrush, tooth paste, soap, shampoo and more.

How to Visit the Food Resource Center

The Food Resource Center is open to students enrolled in at least one course at IVC for the current semester.

Schedule your appointment here.
Come to the Food Resource Center during our hours of operation.
Urgent and emergency cases will be seen without an appointment.
