Apply as a Continuing or Transferring Student
- Apply as a CONTINUING student if you plan to return to IVC for the fall term of the following academic year.

How We Evaluate Scholarships
- A group of IVC employees, including faculty, staff, administrators and retirees, evaluate the applications.
- Applications are scored on the content of the essay responses. However, most scholarships have additional criteria that factor into the selection process.
- Applicants are not guaranteed a scholarship.
Receiving Your Award
In late April or early May you will receive an email notifying you if you are receiving a scholarship, it will also include Scholarship Ceremony details. You will not find out which scholarship(s) you were selected for until the Scholarship Ceremony in mid-May.
- Students who are selected to receive a scholarship are encouraged to attend the Scholarship Ceremony and they will receive an email with a link to RSVP.
- Additional scholarship information will be emailed within 24 hours of the ceremony.
- Some scholarships require that you maintain a certain enrollment status and GPA.
- If you are transferring, you must provide enrollment verification from your transfer institution. Checks are mailed directly to the institution.
- Scholarship payments are only processed after thank you card(s) are received. Recipients are required to submit one per scholarship they receive.
