The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was passed by Congress and signed into law on March 27, 2020. One section of the CARES Act established the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF). HEERF provides funds to institutions for emergency financial aid grants to students for expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
To be eligible for a HEERF Grant, a student must be enrolled in the active semester at IVC and declare IVC their college of record.

Additionally, please submit the IVC Foundation Emergency Fund Student Application and then email the Financial Aid Office to notify us that you have submitted the application to request additional funds.
Funds are disbursed to eligible students after the census date for the active semester.
