The cost of attendance includes not only college fees, books, and supplies, but also basic living expenses. IVC uses two different budgets, one for students living at home with their parents and one for students living off-campus on their own or with roommates. The budgets represent California state averages. Your actual expenses may be higher or lower than the amounts listed below.

Cost of Attendance Appeals
Students may face unexpected expenses during the academic year that are not included in the standard estimated cost of attendance. In these cases, you can request a Cost of Attendance Appeal through the Financial Aid Office to account for additional expenses, such as dependent care or medical costs not covered by insurance. To be considered, complete and submit the Cost of Attendance Appeal at ivc.studentforms.com and attach all required supporting documentation. Please note that submitting an appeal does not guarantee approval.
