Due to limited funding, only units enrolled at IVC and Saddleback College will be used to determine SSCG eligibility. Units enrolled at other institutions and submitted to IVC through a Consortium Agreement will not count toward SSCG eligibility.
The Student Success Completion Grant (SSCG) is a supplemental grant that provides additional funding for Cal Grant B or C recipients attending a California Community College full-time (enrolled in 12 or more units for a primary term). Funding for SSCG is limited, particularly during the spring semester. We prioritize awarding this grant to students with the highest unmet need based on their financial aid file.
Being awarded SSCG in the fall semester does not guarantee you will be awarded in the spring. You will automatically be considered for this grant if you have received the Cal Grant B or C for the academic year.
Eligibility requirements for SSCG:
- Recipient of Cal Grant B or C
- Be enrolled in at least 12 units during the semester awarded
This program is being run and funded through the California Community College Chancellor's Office.
