Irvine Valley basketball standout Yanis Aldeguer, who started much of his two years with the Lasers is headed to NAIA Simpson University. Aldeguer scored in double figures in 12 games for the Lasers during the 2025-26 season.

Irvine Valley sophomore men's basketball player Ethan Hunt will continue his academic and athletic career at NCAA Division III Southern Virginia University. Hunt, a 6-1point guard, played in 21 games this past season for the Lasers.
