The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has released its All-America honors and four Irvine Valley players were named to the list. And it was no surprise since IVC won 3C2A state titles for team, singles and doubles in Ojai.
Irvine Valley sophomore standout indoor and beach volleyball player Avery Bennett has committed to NCAA Division II Vanguard University. She helped lead IVC to conference titles in indoor in 2023 and beach in 2024.
Former Irvine Valley baseball standout Nick Madole had a solid year at NCAA Division II Biola University. He played in 46 games and started 45 in the infield for the Eagles. He was a star shortstop for the Lasers in 2022 and 2023.
Former Irvine Valley all-Orange Empire Conference women's basketball player Trasara Alexander finished her redshirt junior year at NAIA Hope International University and averaged 9.2 points and 5.8 rebounds for the Royals.
Former Irvine Valley standout men's basketball player David Ogunlade was a big part of the rotation at NAIA Hastings College in Nebraska this past season. Ogunlade played in 25 games and started 15 for the Broncos.

Former Irvine Valley standout men's basketball player Charlie Henderson finished up his college career at NCAA Division II Cal State San Bernardino. He averaged 10.0 points and 6.1 rebounds as the Coyotes went 23-12 overall.

Faith Hong has committed to NAIA Westcliff University in Irvine for the fall. The defender was named second-team, all-Orange Empire Conference and helped the Lasers to a record of 10-10-1 overall. IVC shut out 10 opponents.
Irvine Valey's very consistent and super successful tennis team was honored by the South Orange County Community College Board at its monthly meeting Monday at Saddleback. The Lasers captured three state titles.
One of Irvine Valley's top women's beach volleyball players, Jayva Andersen, is headed to the College of Idaho. She played on the No. 2 pairs team with the Lasers and was named first team all-Orange Empire Conference.
