Graduate with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 51/2 years!
The Community College Accelerated PharmD Pathway (CCAPP) program provides IVC students with a guaranteed seat in the Western University of Health Sciences, College of Pharmacy’s Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program, upon successful completion of the Transfer Admission Guarantee requirements.
Participants will graduate with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in approximately 51/2 years, as opposed to the traditionally required eight years in a non-accelerated program (2 years at IVC, and 31/2 at WesternU).

Transfer Admissions Guarantee Requirements
- Complete all required WesternU PharmD prerequisites with a grade of C or better.
- Have a minimum of 60 transferrable semester units.
- Earn and maintain a minimum of a 3.0 GPA in all required pre-requisite courses.
- Submit all transcripts and grades from all college institutions attended.
- Two letters of reference.
- Submission of a PharmD application through Pharmacy College Application Service (PharmCAS).
- Submission of secondary application materials as requested by WesternU.
- A disciplinary record free of proven violations of standards of student conduct.
- A successful interview at WesternU.
