We have many informative presentations and resources just for you! All IVC student parking lots will be free for the duration of the event.
Check-in in front of the IVC Performing Arts Center (PAC) to receive your meal tickets and opportunity drawing tickets!
Dinner from The Habit Burger Grill
Location: Various Food Truck Locations Between the PAC and Library
First 1,500 registered attendees will receive a free meal from The Habit Burger Grill. Stop by any of the four food trucks to redeem your meal ticket. (Registration does not guarantee a meal. Meals distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.)
Outdoor Resource Fair
Location: Library and Hart Gym Walkway (see map for booth location)
Learn about all of the academic degree programs and student support services available to help students succeed at IVC! Drop off your opportunity drawing ticket at the main stage where the DJ will announce the winners throughout the evening. Prizes will be held on stage until the end of the event, then can be picked up Mon. – Fri., 8 – 5 pm, at SAC 150. Prizes will be held until Friday, April 24. Winner need not be present to win, and will be notified.
Honors Program, University Transfer, and Irvine Valley Promise Program (Two Years Free Tuition)
Location: Hart Gym
This informative presentation will highlight the respected IVC Honors Program, university transfer guarantee/agreement programs, Irvine Valley Promise, and Q&A with representatives from each area. Seating is limited (first-come, first-served). This session is offered twice: at 5 pm and at 6:30 pm.
Behind the Scenes: An Inside Look at the Performing Arts
Location: Performing Arts Center (near Lot 5)
Join us for a behind the scenes tour of IVC’s Performing Arts Center. Visit the Rezanoor Main Stage, the Black Box Studio Theater, join current Performing Arts students and faculty for a sample Theater class, and participate in a Q&A session about life at IVC. Sample Class led by Theater Arts Faculty Martin Noyes, renowned Southern California fight choreographer, actor, and director. Q&A Session with current Dance, Music, and Theater students and faculty. This session is offered twice: at 5 pm and at 6:30 pm.
Art Happens Here: Open Studios and Classrooms in the New Visual Arts Building
Location: Visual Arts (VA)
Meet in front of the stage at 4:45pm to walk together as a group to the VA building.
Enjoy a fun, self-paced tour through our new Visual Arts building, classrooms, and studios. Get a chance to connect with the students, faculty, and staff in the Department of Art! Visualize your creative future as you learn about digital media, studio art, design, video, interactive media, printmaking, ceramics, photography, and more! Watch live art-making demonstrations in ceramics and printmaking, or check out the video production spaces! After walking through these state-of-the-art facilities, feel free to relax and take a break in our comfortable lounge areas!
GAP4+1 Breakout Session
Location: BSTIC 111
GAP4+1 is a unique pathway program and partnership between IVC and California State University, Fullerton. Students in the program are guaranteed to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in business administration (with a concentration in accounting) in four years and a master’s degree (optional) with one additional year. With this degree, students expand their career choices from traditional international and national accounting firms to positions involving data analytics, process automation, business technology positions, and more. The Adult Learner Experience: Returning to College at IVC

Thinking about returning to college or continuing your education? This session is designed for students 25 years of age or older who want to explore the many opportunities Irvine Valley College has to offer adult learners, including academic programs, career pathways, and the many support services available to help them succeed. You’ll also hear directly from current adult learner students as they share their experiences transitioning back to college and balancing school with life responsibilities.
