IVC Psi Beta Students Present at WPA Conference

IVC’s Psi Beta Psychological Honors Society members attended the Western Psychological Association (WPA) Conference in Portland Oregon in the spring. Thirteen students presented independent research they conducted over the 2021-2022 school year. All of the students were accepted to present in their field’s general session, alongside professional research psychologists and graduate students.

Environmental Leadership Task Force

Task Force Charge: The Irvine Valley College Environmental Leadership Task Force is dedicated to facilitate the implementation of practices that enhance the overall campus environment at Irvine Valley College. These enhancements are in the areas of sustainability, ecological functionality, and social, cultural, and aesthetic values.

Sustainability Efforts

Campus Sustainability Projects

  • Recycling Bins 
    In an ongoing effort to promote sustainability, new recycling and waste bins have been added to both the grounds and buildings for student, faculty and staff use.
  • Water Bottle Fill Stations 
    State-of-the-art filtered water fill stations have been added to A 400, BSTIC, SSC, PE 200 and B 300 in an effort to decrease the number of single use bottles used on campus.
  • Vehicle Charge Stations
