Program Requirements
To complete the Honors Program, receive recognition on the IVC academic transcript, and get special consideration by transfer institutions, Honors Program students must accomplish the following:
Coursework
Honors Course Completion: : Students complete at least 15 semester units of UC-transferable Honors courses by the end of their final spring semester at IVC. All Honors courses must be taken for a letter grade (not pass/no pass).
Transfer Programs
Whether you have your sights on a UC, CSU, out-of-state, or private university, your path to transfer starts at IVC. Our transfer programs give you a streamlined plan to complete your general education and college major preparation courses. Once you finish, you will be ready to transfer as a junior at four-year university to complete your bachelor’s degree in your field of study.
